Job Introduction
Are you passionate about inclusion?
Do you believe that every child, regardless of need, deserves to flourish within a nurturing and supportive school community?
If so, we would love to hear from you.
Brookside School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our SEND hub team from September 2026, when we launch our newly established SEND Hub.
Our bespoke SEND Hub, based within The Canopy, will open in September 2026 to support a small group of children with Communication & Interaction (C&I) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Hub will be supported by highly skilled teaching assistants, the SENDCo, and a strong network of external professionals including the C&I Team, Special School outreach and OXSIT.
We are looking to recruit a qualified teacher to take the lead in shaping and delivering this new provision, ideally with experience of working in a specialist provision or early years setting. This is an exciting opportunity to play a significant role in designing an environment where our children can feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
If you are committed to inclusive practice and eager to help establish and lead a provision that will transform children’s educational and social experiences, we would love to speak with you.
Please contact us on 01869 252 482 if this role interests you.
Visits to Brookside School are warmly welcomed and strongly encouraged.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
