ADMINISTRATOR

 

GRADE & SCALE POINT:                GRADE 4 SCP 4-5

 

SALARY:                                            £24790.16 Full time equivalent

                                                            

 

HOURS OF WORK:                           FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS

9 HOURS (DAYS/HOURS CAN BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW)

 

CONTRACT:                                      1 YEAR FIXED CONTRACT TO JULY 2026

 

START DATE:                                   September 2025

 

 

Our small community school are looking for an administrator to support our community.   Duties include (but are not limited to) reception duties, answering routine telephone calls, managing face to face enquires from visitors and providing routine clerical support (eg. Photocopying, filing, emailing, updating school records, maintaining school website).  

 

The successful candidate needs to be an enthusiastic team player with a willingness to contribute to the overall vision of our school.  Experience of professional administrative work, good communication, numeracy and literacy skills is essential for this role.

 

A basic first aid qualification or a willingness to undertake basic first aid training would be an advantage.

 

The hours of work are flexible and would be agreed during the interview process.  This is currently a temporary post until July 2026, however there may be scope to continue beyond this date for successful candidates.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Nicola Townsend (Acting Head Teacher) and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) is Claire Wadsworth (Key Stage 1 teacher).  The governor for safeguarding is Lynn Jenkins
