After School Club/Breakfast Club Manager

Job Introduction

A very exciting position has arisen for someone who shares our vision for our wonderfully diverse, fully inclusive Primary School.

We need an enthusiastic, passionate and flexible team player to lead and develop our after school clubs.

Responsibilities and details of the role includes:

Club Manager: Breakfast club, after school club, club developer 17.5 hours per week (13.5 hours at the club – 3.00pm – 5.45pm Monday – Friday + 4 hours flexible for planning and administration)

Breakfast Club: (management only – attendance not required),

After School Club: delivering high quality, creative play and care for the children in the club; planning the safe operation of the club and its staff, preparing and serving healthy snacks, communicating effectively with parents and carers, setting up and clearing the play setting.

Club developer: to organize the current clubs, but to also look at ways of expanding the choice and breadth of clubs on offer so that our wrap around care is second-to-none

This is a permanent part-time position, term time only initially, with the potential to increase hours and developing the role and skills through CPD.

The salary is:  Grade 8  –  (£29,269 – £32,076) – pro rata salary = £11,734 to £12,860
