Salary: MPS / UPS dependent upon experience

Queensway School has vacancies for 2 class teachers on a fixed term contract from 1st September 2026 - 31st August 2027.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teachers to join our vibrant, nurturing school community. At the heart of our ethos are the values of Respect, Kindness and Resilience, and we are seeking someone who will model these values every day and inspire them in our pupils.

About the Role

You will deliver high‑quality teaching that engages, challenges and supports all learners. You’ll plan and deliver a broad, ambitious curriculum, use effective assessment to drive progress, and create a classroom culture where every child feels valued, safe and motivated to succeed.

  • A teacher with strong knowledge of the National Curriculum (and EYFS where relevant)
  • Someone who builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
  • A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development
  • A teacher who promotes excellent behaviour through respect, kindness and high expectations
  • Someone who supports pupils to develop resilience, independence and a love of learning
  • A team player who contributes positively to school life and whole‑school initiatives. 

Experienced teachers with a proven track record of at least good teaching and outcomes are encouraged to apply as well at outstanding ECTs with good references from recent school placements.
