Chesterton Church of England Primary School is a thriving village school located close to Bicester with just under 200 pupils on roll. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, inspiring and skilled Teaching Assistants to join our friendly team to start as soon as possible.
The Teaching Assistant role will involve providing support for pupils through a combination of one-to-one, small group and class support across the school.
We can offer successful candidates a positive working environment to start or continue their career in education, including:
- a friendly and supportive staff team
- caring and respectful children
- opportunities for continued professional development, including regular in-school training
- access to a range of health and wellbeing services through the school’s insurance provider
- the opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.
Experience in similar roles would be an advantage, although comprehensive training and ongoing professional development will be provided to an individual who is passionate about our children and community.
This post involves the type of work with children and young people that requires applicants to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post. All cases are considered confidentially and according to the nature of the role and information disclosed.
