We are looking for experienced, kind, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our friendly, happy, hardworking team at our fantastic community village school. We currently have two vacancies but would also consider applications for less hours to include morning working in a classroom and lunchtime supervision each day.
The Teaching Assistant role includes working closely with the class teacher supporting children with their learning as part of the whole class as well as supporting individual children with additional needs and groups of children. This role may involve some 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN.
All Teaching Assistants are part of our whole school lunchtime supervision team working on a rota basis.
In the first instance, the contract will be on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2027 but may be extended in line with the school needs.
Hours of work would be either:
27.5 hours per week (8.45 to 3:15), Monday to Friday term time only
OR
20 hours per week (9 to 1:00), Monday to Friday term time only - 3 hours in class and 1 hour lunch time support each day.
OCC - Grade 4
Any training on INSET day will be paid as overtime
