Job Introduction
Caldecott Primary School is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants.
We currently have the following vacancies: -
- Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 11:45, working within KS1 or KS2.
- Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 11:30, nursery TA, 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN.
- Monday to Friday, 12:15 to 15:15, nursery TA.

This role includes working closely with the class teacher and supporting both individual children with additional needs and groups of children across the provision.
The successful candidate will:
• be happy providing a range of learning support to pupils
• be happy working in role which at times can be challenging and will require initiative and flexibility to suit the needs of the child/ren
• be committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity
• work with a team of committed TAs and in collaboration with other teaching staff under the direction of the SENCo to deliver a tailored curriculum and specific intervention and support for children with high level additional needs.
The Important Stuff!
The current rate of pay for Teaching Assistants is £13.05. These are all Fixed Term Contracts until 31st August 2026, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only. On your application form, please clearly state which post you are applying for.
