Job Introduction

Great Milton Church of England Primary School is seeking a committed, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Rooted in our Christian vision “With love we flourish”, we are looking for someone who is passionate about helping every child feel valued, included and able to succeed.

About the role

The successful candidate will:

  • Support high‑quality teaching and learning across the school

  • Work with individuals and small groups to help pupils make strong progress

  • Provide support for pupils with SEND, following guidance from teachers and the SENCo

  • Help maintain a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment

  • Contribute to the wider life of our vibrant village school

We are looking for someone who:

  • Builds warm, positive relationships with children

  • Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team

  • Is patient, proactive and solution‑focused

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
