We are looking for a temporary teacher for 1 academic year to work Fridays to join our Key Stage 2 teaching team with a start date 1 September 2026. The post is suitable for Main Scale qualified teachers, we are not able to take on an ECT for this position. At Windmill we have a commitment to creative learning and to providing a challenging and exciting curriculum for all aged children. We have a strong values based ethos to ensure that we have a happy and supportive school for everyone who is part of our school community.

Criteria – Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status with Degree
Successful primary teaching experience
Full DBS disclosure
Experience of teaching Key Stage 2
Experience of leading a subject
Criteria – Skills and Qualifications
A good understanding of Key stage 2 curriculum
Ability to build good working relationships with staff and pupils
Clear understanding of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
Ability to show understanding and empathy when dealing with children and parents
Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
Able to be flexible
Good attendance and timekeeping
