Full Time Reception Class Teacher Required September 2025

The staff and governors of Mill Lane School continue to strive to offer the best education possible for the children in its community. There is a real team ethos at Mill Lane Community Primary School where leaders and staff contribute to all aspects of school improvement and where all staff members are supported in their role.

Our aim is to be flexible, open and sharing and we are keen to embrace developments for our future success. We are therefore seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated Reception class teacher to join our dedicated and supportive Early Years team.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • ensure the ethos of the school is upheld
  • liaise between staff, governors and the wider community
  • demonstrate exemplary classroom practice
  • promote strong links within the Community
  • provide a caring, organised, well-ordered and stimulating environment
  • have high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour
  • provide creative, imaginative and inspiring learning opportunities for all the children
  • make use of our excellent outdoor facilities
  • strives to provide an excellent creative, fun and successful Early Years provision with exciting learning experiences that make use of both our lovely outdoor area and spacious classroom.
