Job Introduction
Do you like hearing your name 500 times a day? If so, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in nurturing and developing the young minds of our youngest children, ensuring they receive the best possible start in their educational journey. You must be willing to read the same story over and over again and enjoy playdough pizza!.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging educational programmes that promote the development of children aged 2 - 5 years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Manage daily activities and routines, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues to build strong relationships and support childrens's learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to promote best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is desirable.
- A relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare is essential at Level 3.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting positive interactions among children.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous.
- A drive for continuous professional development and commitment to improving educational practices.
