Family Links Worker (Family Link Support Officer) – Tetsworth Primary School
Tetsworth Primary School is seeking a caring, proactive Family Links Worker to strengthen home–school relationships and support children and families to remove barriers to learning.
You will:
Provide early help and targeted family support to improve attendance, wellbeing and engagement
Work alongside staff and families to support pupils’ emotional regulation, using relational/co-regulation strategies (aligned to the school’s approach, e.g. Thrive-informed practice where appropriate)
Liaise with the DSL team, SENDCo and external agencies, contributing to Early Help / Strengths & Needs work
Maintain clear, accurate records, follow-up actions and impact
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children and/or families
Can build trusting relationships and communicate sensitively, including in challenging situations
Is organised, resilient and solution-focused
Understands (or is keen to learn) approaches to supporting emotional regulation and reducing barriers to learning
Is committed to safeguarding and inclusion
