Contract type: Temporary for 1 year in the first instance

Charlton-on-Otmoor CofE Primary is looking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic teacher to be part of our thriving school. This role is a temporary part-time for 1 year in the first instance.
Main duties and responsibilities
The teacher will:
- fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. A copy of this is available on the DfE website: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/school-teachers-pay-and-conditions
- meet the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards
- foster the ethos of the school and uphold its aims and values
- ensure the highest possible standards of teaching and learning for a group of pupils
- lead and manage a class team and ensure the safety and well-being of children and colleagues
- fully support the life and work of the school
- be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection and report all concerns to the Headteacher (or delegated member of staff)
