We are looking to employ an additional Teaching Assistant to join our team of supportive and professional staff. The role will include supporting key children with complex SEND and general TA duties, plus lunch duty. Experience of working with children who have complex SEND is desirable as is experience of working in Early Years, but not essential.

As mentioned in our advert heading, we support part-time work and welcome applicants for either the full position or working every morning or every afternoon (school can create a job share for suitable applicants). Please specify on your application form (within the personal statement section) what hours you would like to be considered for.

We can offer you:

  • Plenty of opportunities for professional development, within our school and our Trust.
  • An individual CPD pathway, to develop practice, and help you reach the next stage in your career.
  • An opportunity to work in a charitable organisation that is focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged children.
  • A competitive salary, a popular benefits and rewards programme.
  • The opportunity to work as part of a supportive team of staff, working with our incredible children.

What our staff team say is the best thing about working at Pegasus:

  • “We are a close and supportive team, who care about the well-being of others.”
  • “The CPD offered is of high quality, provided throughout the year and inclusive of all members in the staff team.”
  • “Our team is child-focused, enthusiastic and dedicated to improving the life chances of all of the children we work with.

The right candidate will have:

  • Drive, determination and a passion for working with children and their families.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a large staff team.
  • A positive outlook and a resilient nature.
  • A commitment to developing their own, and others, practice as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of children with complex SEND.

If you feel you would be suitable to work within our supportive and friendly team, we would like to hear from you!
