Job Introduction

Teaching Assistant Vacancy – temporary for 12 months

From 1 September 2025 (there is a possibility of a permanent position).

Grade 4 scale point 4 to 5 (£24,404 to £24,790 pro rata).  30 hours per week.  Term time only.

Hours of work:  8.25am to 3.00pm (6 hours and 5 mins daily – 30 mins break for lunchtime).

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, self-motivated Teaching Assistant to join our committed team.  The job will involve working with individuals or groups of children on a range of curriculum activities and programmes.  The successful candidate will show that they are able to support children with additional social, medical and individual emotional needs.  Full training will be given.  The successful candidate will have a positive approach to behaviour management and will have high expectations for all children.  In return, we can offer a lively, successful school environment with a motivated and supportive staff.

This post is subject to a DBS check.

The closing date for this application is 12 noon on Friday16 May 2025 and the interviews will be held on Friday 23 May 2025.  All communication will be by email with and from the school office.
