Term Time Only
Position starts on the 25th February 2025 or later if a notice period needs to be served
Stanford in the Vale CE Primary School wishes to appoint a motivated and inspirational Teaching Assistant with the confidence and enthusiasm to ensure our pupils achieve academic success whilst enjoying their time at our school. We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant who:
- Is confident to supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
- Can use strategies and resources, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals
- Can undertake structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil responses
- Has a secure knowledge of a range of behaviour management strategies to ensure our pupils have consistent boundaries
- Can provide the necessary pastoral care to enable children to feel secure and happy
- Can administer routine tests and undertake routine marking of pupils’ work
- Can provide clerical/admin. support e.g. photocopying, typing, filing, administer coursework etc.
- Loves their job, showing passion and taking a pride in everything that they do
- Works well in a team, enjoying learning and collaborating with others to promote excellence throughout the whole school as well as in their own classroom
- Is motivated to do their very best
- Is able to maintain good, professional relationships with parents and multi-agency networks to enable every child to be the best they can
- Is committed to ensuring that excellence, inclusion and challenge are at the heart of everything we do.

Experience of working in a school is preferred.
