Job Introduction

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful Teaching Assistant to provide support for our pupils. You will be working in close partnership with the class teacher. You will be experienced in supporting children with positive behaviour management techniques and will be caring, patient and resilient.
You will be a pivotal member of staff in our happy and supportive team and have a passion for teaching and learning. You will be able to motivate, challenge and inspire our children further. You will have the highest expectations for achievement and behaviour, the ability to develop outstanding relationships with colleagues, children and parents and have excellent communication and organisational skills.
The post will be temporary in the first instance with the possibility of being extended.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and capabilities:
- Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable but not essential:
- 12 Hour Paediatric Care First Aid
- Food Handling and Hygiene Level 2 qualification
