Job Introduction

Shellingford CE (A) Primary School is a successful rural school (4 miles from Faringdon and 7 miles from Wantage) with a strong family atmosphere and Christian ethos.  Our school motto ‘Inspiring Hearts and Minds’ is intrinsic to school life.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant for 32.5 hours a week (8.30am - 3.30pm), a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status is desirable but not essential.   

Part-time hours will be considered.

The post will commence on 6th January 2025 until 18th July 2025.

As a Church school, it will be important for the successful candidate to be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of a school based upon Christian values.
