Job Introduction

We are a small, successful village primary school and we are looking to appoint a dynamic, patient and enthusiastic teacher from January 2026. This role will initially be for one year with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will work as part of a very supportive classroom team in a mixed Yr1/2 class. We are committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning and our goal is to support children to achieve their very best whilst, at the same time, encouraging, and guiding them to become responsible, caring citizens of the future.

As a Church school, it will be important for the successful candidate to be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of a school based upon Christian values.  Our school motto,  ‘Love, Courage, Truth, Respect – guiding every child’s journey’ is intrinsic to school life.

Great Rollright School takes safeguarding children very seriously. The successful applicant will have to undergo a DBS check and references will be required in line with our Safer Recruitment and Safeguarding policy.

We are looking for a teacher who:
