Job Introduction
Dorchester St Birinus Primary School are seeking a part time teacher for mornings only to teach a class of Year 5 and 6 children from September 2025. This is a temporary position for a year in the first instance.
This is an important and exciting role which gives a real opportunity to have positive impact on the pupils in our school. You would be primarily teaching Maths and English and working collaboratively with our existing teaching team to ensure consistency and rigour. We are looking for someone with high expectations who has experience of teaching in upper key stage 2 and with a proven ability to ensure pupils make rapid progress.
We are a small C of E primary school based in the beautiful village of Dorchester-on-Thames. Our children are hard-working, well behaved, kind and caring.
