At Five Acres Primary School, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and highly skilled teacher to lead our Enhanced Pathway Provision and make a lasting difference to the lives of children with complex additional needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with a strong commitment to inclusion and SEND to join our dedicated team and contribute to the continued development of a provision supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), global developmental delay, speech and language difficulties, sensory needs and physical disabilities. The provision currently supports children with significant SEND and is staffed by a specialist teacher and teaching assistants.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a teacher who:
· Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
· Has experience of teaching children with SEND, particularly pupils with ASD, ADHD, global developmental delay and/or physical disabilities.
· Understands the importance of communication, sensory regulation and personalised learning approaches.
· Can create a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment.
· Works effectively with families, external agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
· Has strong behaviour support skills and a child-centred approach.
· Is committed to inclusion and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
· Can lead a team of support staff and contribute to whole-school SEND development.
