Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in our Communicaton and Interaction Resource Base (CIRB)

Job Introduction

We are looking to appoint a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, to join the school , working with children on a 1:1 basis in our Communication and Interaction Resource Base.  This is a temporary position, initially for one year with a view to it becoming permanent.

All children attending the Base have an EHCP with Communication and Interaction (usually Autism Spectrum Disorder) being the primary need. However, their individual needs are wide ranging, including ADHD and behaviour support. Salary:  Grade 6  –  (£26,824 – £29,064) – pro rata salary = £18,194 to £19,713

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week term time only – 8.45am – 3.15pm (including half an hour lunch break)
