Job Introduction
Crowmarsh Gifford C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and capable School Business Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to play a key role in the strategic and operational leadership of the school.
The successful applicant will manage and supervise the school office and lead on financial management, including budget setting and monitoring, as well as supporting fundraising initiatives. They will also oversee HR functions and ensure effective health and safety systems, including full compliance with statutory requirements. Applicants should have relevant experience in some or all of these areas.

We have recently consulted with stakeholders regarding joining the Merchant Taylors Academy Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of this exciting development, working collaboratively with Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford Secondary School and other primary school(s) within the Trust, alongside the central Trust team. This role offers excellent potential for professional growth and career progression.

Salary: Grade 10, Points 27–30 (£38,221 – £40,778 FTE, pro rata)
Hourly Rate: £19.81 – £21.14
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: 38 working weeks per year + holiday (term time only)
Hours: 20–25 hours/3-4 days per week (days and times can be flexible)
