Part time Early Years Teacher

Job Introduction

Wootton St Peter’s CE Primary School is a voluntary aided school that has 94 pupils on roll and is situated in the idyllic setting of old Wootton Village near Boars Hill, between Abingdon and Oxford.  The school has well-behaved pupils, supportive parents, friendly staff, active governors and excellent links with the Abingdon Partnership, Cambrian Learning Trust, Radley College, the local community and St Peter’s church.

We were inspected by Ofsted in January 2025 and are happy to say we have maintained our ‘GOOD’ rating.

“Social times are joyous and safe. Pupils appreciate the various activities and play equipment that are provided for them. Throughout the school, there are warm and productive relationships between pupils and staff. Pupils trust that staff want the best for them. Pupils recognise and respect the high expectations of adults in the school. They consistently meet these by being kind and following the rules and routines of the playground and classrooms well.

This is a happy school, where all pupils, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), achieve well. The school is ambitious for what pupils will experience. Pupils benefit from having their needs well known and met by staff.”
