PART TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY
Temporary Contract until 31st August 2025
From January 2025
Salary Grade 4 £23,114 FTE (37 hours)
17 ½ hours 8:30am – 12pm Monday - Friday

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and caring teaching assistant to join our supportive team. You will work alongside the class teacher to provide general classroom support, work with small groups of children and give 1:1 support to children with additional needs across the week.
The successful candidate must have:
- Enthusiasm to work with children.
- Have the ability to follow directions, think for themselves and in time have the confidence to take initiative.
- A sense of humour and the ability to work with others sensitively are both essentials.
- The ability to work as part of a team, building relationships with children, staff and parents.
- A passion for nurturing the emotional wellbeing of children.
- A willingness to learn on the job.
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable in your work.
It would be desirable to have:
- Experience of working with children.
- A knowledge of how to support children with additional needs.
- Ability to differentiate and support children with their learning, communication and interactions.
