Contract: Permanent, Full Time (part-time/job share considered)
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and inspiring Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our small, friendly team at Aston Rowant Church of England Primary School. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach in a nurturing, values-led environment where children are at the heart of everything we do.  You will play a key role in delivering engaging, creative lessons and supporting pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

  • A true passion for and enjoyment of teaching
  • High expectations for themselves and their pupils
  • Experience across the primary age range (KS2 experience desirable)
  • Creativity, energy, and flair in teaching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
