Salary Details: Grade 4: Points 4-5 (current FTE £25185-25584 - approximate actual salary for 31.25 hours £17739 - £18025 per annum)

Hours of Work: 

31.25 hours per week, term-time only

Job/Person Summary

Depending on the experience and skills of our applicants, we are open to flexibility within the roles available. However, the main roles required are detailed below. 

Class Teaching Assistant for Nursery

St Leonard’s Church of England Primary School is a thriving school located close to the M40 jct 11 with 348 pupils on roll. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team to start in September 2026 

The position is temporary until July 2027.

The Class Teaching Assistant role will involve providing support for our youngest pupils through a combination of one-to-one, small group and class support.

NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualifications.  Experience in similar roles would be an advantage.
