Church Cowley St James C of E Primary School is proud to have such a beautiful Wilderness Nursery. Our building(s), provision and outdoor space for children in Nursery is exceptional.

Wilderness Nursery is for children who are 3 or 4 years old, attending 38 weeks per year. The nursery is contained within the grounds of Church Cowley St James Primary School.

Job Details

We are looking for outstanding, energetic and inspirational individuals to join our nursery team as a Grade 8 Early Years Support Worker (Nursery Nurse)cto support children in whole-class teaching and small-group or individual interventions.

As a Grade , you will be expected to work in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher, work may include 1:1, small group work or interventions and be expected to provide occasional whole-class cover. The right people will be dedicated to improving the outcomes for all children: emotionally, socially and educationally.

This is a part time position for 32.5 hours per week during term time. Salary & Benefits

Grade 8 position is dependent on qualifications and experience, for 32.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during school term time, ideally starting as soon as possible.


Candidates should have experience working in an early years setting and a suitable Grade 8 qualification such as NNEB etc, both roles require those who are committed to developing children academically, socially and emotionally.
