Job Introduction
The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint an inspirational Deputy Headteacher from April 2025, who will work in partnership with the Head in leading and inspiring a dedicated team of practitioners.
The Grange Community Primary School is a successful, nurturing town school with 318 children in 11 classes, aged 4-11.
We have high expectations of ourselves as professionals, as well as the children we teach. We are looking for an effective, energetic, and experienced leader who is ready to take on a full-time, non-class-based Deputy Head role with a SEND responsibility and who is ready to take on the next challenge of leadership or to continue their leadership journey. They will play a key role in continuing the development of our school which was rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED in March 2023.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring senior leader who has:
• Comprehensive experience in SEND and Children We Care For leadership across the early years and primary phases (FS-Year6);
• Lead a phase/phases within a primary school successfully;
• Experience at being a Deputy or Designated DSL;
• Experience in senior leadership at an effective level; including coaching and mentoring a range of staff at all levels successfully;
• Outstanding working relationships with colleagues at all levels;
The ability to bring new ideas and implement them successfully at The Grange.
