We are looking to appoint Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our school asap, working with children on a 1:1 basis in our Communication and Interaction Resource Base. This is a temporary position, initially until 31st August 2025 with a view to it becoming permanent.
All children attending the Base have an EHCP with Communication and Interaction (usually Autism Spectrum Disorder) being the primary need. However, their individual needs are wide raning, including ADHD and behaviour support.
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
- Highly motivated with clear expectations of the role
- Experience of working within a school environment
- Experience of working with children with additional needs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism and respect for confidentiality

Hours of work: 30 hours per week – Grade 6 term time only (8.45am – 3.15pm) – £24,702 to £26,873 – pro rata – £16,754 ( Part time position will be considered)
