Class-based Teaching Assistant (with After School Club Playleader hours if preferred) Grade 5
Hours of Work: 8:30am-3:15pm Wednesday- Friday (18.25 hours) or 8:30am-6pm (27 hours)
Combe CE Primary School is a vibrant village school, close to the Cotswolds but within easy commuting distance of Oxford and Witney. We are seeking a talented teaching assistant to join our friendly, dedicated staff team, in a mixed Year 1/Year 2 Class (and in our successful after school club, if adding on the After School Club hours).
Our new teaching assistant will assist our pupils in developing a lifelong love of learning in a fun, ambitious and creative environment. We are proud of our unique school curriculum which inspires pupils to learn with curiously, challenge and creativity. Furthermore, we value the enrichment of our curriculum through off-site visits, visitors to school and learning in our wonderful outdoor environment.
The successful candidate will be a teaching assistant who has:
· High ambitions for themselves and a commitment to provide every child with the best possible start in life;
· Experience of working with children;
· Dedication and determination to secure good or better progress and raise attainment for all children;
· The ability to work as part of a team;
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing and maintaining close links with the whole community;
