Job Introduction
Breakfast Club Supervisor / After School Club Supervisor
Are you someone who is energetic, creative and loves working with children and supporting them in their play? If so then we have an amazing opportunity to join our small friendly team at New Hinksey Primary School for either Breakfast Club or After School Club or both.
Breakfast Club runs daily from 7.45am to 8.45am. The children are provided with breakfast – cereal and toasted goods and supervised with a calm start to the day. Various toys and activities are provided.
After School runs from 3.10pm to 6.00pm daily during term time. The children play outside initially (weather permitting) and go to the park or for a walk twice a week. Once the children return (about 4.15pm) they have a snack of toasted goods with toppings and then play in the After School Club room or the Nest. There are opportunities to cook and to participate in various craft activities. There are also a variety of construction toys as well as a selection of board games and jigsaws. The children are collected from After School Club by their parents any time from 4.40pm to 6.00pm. There is a telephone in the ASC room so that parents can call if they are likely to be stuck in traffic.
All these positions require a DBS (which can be undertaken here upon appointment); first aid training is a requirement as well as training in food safety and other health and safety courses. We would provide this training.
If you require any further information, or you would like a look around, then please contact Tracey Haslam, School Business Manager, on recruitment@new-hinksey.oxon.sch.uk or call 01865 242169.
