New Hinksey Primary School After School Club Leader
We are a small happy school in South Oxford and everything we do is in the best interests of the children. We aim to provide the best quality education for them and work together with parents and carers to prepare our children for their future. We want them to flourish in all aspects of their lives.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to run our After School Club who is able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and will be invested in delivering a high quality and enjoyable club to the children of New Hinksey.
The role
- Working with and supervising our Play Workers
- Ensuring our children are safe and happy in the club
- Ensuring that there are adequate activities to engage the children
- Supervise and care for the children and hand them over safely to parents and carers
- Provide a snack and a drink and ensure the area is left clean and tidy.
What we want
We are looking for someone who is:
- Easily approachable and can communicate and engage with people
- Inspirational and providing fun, engaging care and encouraging children to explore their interests
- Able to plan, supervise and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm from multi sports, games, arts and crafts, cooking, downtime and play
- Proactive, responsible and able to follow procedures aimed to keep the children safe
- Energetic, exciting and enthusiastic as well as honest, warm and genuine
- Willing to undertake a first aid course, online food hygiene course and an online Level 3 Safeguarding course.
