We are looking to appoint a dedicated Special Needs Assistant to work on a part-time basis with a child in KS1, who has behaviours associated with autism and learning avoidance.
Sheet Primary School is a small mixed year 4 class village school in the heart of the community.
Developing a strong and positive relationship is essential in supporting the child to make the best possible progress, and we are looking for someone who has an enthusiastic and nurturing approach as well as strong behaviour management skills. You will have high expectations of learning of both self and others and passionately believe that every child can achieve and reach their potential.
The role would suit someone who enjoys a challenge, who can appreciate the sociable aspects of a child and who can make use of their own and the child’s strengths and interests.
