An exciting opportunity has arisen within the University of Winchester Academy Trust (UWinAT) for a proactive and well-organised person to take on and develop the role of Governance Professional/Clerk.
Supporting the smooth operation of the Trust Board and its Committees you will need to demonstrate good communication skills and an excellent knowledge of school clerking, Company Secretary duties and Data Protection requirements.
Reporting to the Chair of Trust Board and acting as the main point of contact for all matters relating to governance within the Trust, you will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work both independently and as part of team. There will be a requirement to attend daytime and evening meetings and excellent listening, writing and IT skills are essential. Whilst the majority of your time will be deployed across term time, it is important that you are able to work outside of term times as required.
UWinAT currently consists of 5 primary schools in and around the Winchester and Romsey areas, including 2 brand new, growing schools, and the ability to travel to all Academies is essential.
The Trust prides itself in providing exceptional education, underpinned by its values of Compassion, Individuals Matter and Spirituality and this presents a fantastic opportunity for someone to be part of the UWinAT journey.
