Berrywood Site Manager Advert
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become the next Site Manager at one of Hampshire’s largest and most progressive primary schools. We are situated on a nine-acre site in suburban Hedge End. Our beautiful grounds, including our show gardens and extensive woodland, are very proud features of our ‘School Within a Garden’ ethos. The building and internal environment have undergone significant modernisation and improvement programmes in recent years, with the scope and funding for even larger scale works on the near horizon.
We are looking for someone who has secure professional skills, knowledge and experience to safely and successfully lead our modest but crucial site team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a very clear understanding of how the very hands on nature of the Site Manager role contributes not only to our vision, but also to harmonious school life. You will be hard-working, energetic, diligent and possess very strong personal integrity in forming professional relationships with colleagues.
The successful candidate will be able to show how their career pathway has enabled them to build a specific and wide ranging technical/logistical portfolio of attributes to bring value to the Berrywood school community. A degree of flexibility in shifts / working hours is essential in order to ensure that school and community events are supported. This is a public facing role which is ideal for someone with a friendly and amenable mind-set.
We will need you to work in partnership with our school team to: -
