Orchard Infant School is looking to recruit a Headteacher for April 2021 owing to the retirement of our current Head. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing or aspiring Headteacher to take on the leadership of our successful, happy school.
We are a 3 form entry located in the village of Dibden Purlieu, which is adjacent to the New Forest National Park and within easy reach of the City of Southampton. The school sits on a large site that we share with Orchard Junior School and Noadswood Secondary School. Our school is rated outstanding by OFSTED and the Governors and staff are committed to maintaining and building upon this position of excellence.
The Governing Body wishes to appoint someone who will lead our school into its next phase by continuing to develop and improve upon the outstanding teaching delivered through our integrated curriculum, and by extending our reach in the community. This leader will need to have a clear vision of what is required, and the dynamism to ensure every child benefits from their first experience of school learning at Orchard.
