The role will be class based in Year 2/Year 3 in the morning supporting individuals in accessing the learning. Some of the afternoons the role will be focused on interventions, working one to one or in a group, strongly supported and directed by the class teachers. This afternoon role is to enable the curriculum to be fully adapted and inspirational for all pupils! This will be varied and exciting but will require many teaching and learning skills too. There will also be the opportunity to support pupils during PPA time in a team.
Our Core Christian Values Love, Respect and Belong are lived in every aspect of the school community so that our pupils have the very best foundation for success at St. Mary’s and in their future lives. This is reflected in the outstanding judgement from our SIAMS inspection in October 2016. St Mary’s is an exciting school to work at, with highly motivated pupils and staff. We are a fully inclusive school and know that we can help every child to push their potential, develop resilience and enjoy everything life has to offer!
