Salary Details: Grade B £18,562.00

Salary Pro-Rata: £13,380

Hours of Work: 30.25 hours per week 8:45am - 3:20pm Monday - Friday term time only

Job/Person Summary

We are looking to appoint a positive and flexible learning support assistant to join our enthusiastic EYFS team at Fryern Infant and Junior Schools.  This post is fixed term to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent interpersonal skills and is caring, calm and patient

Has a positive attitude and is flexible to the demands of the role

Preferably has early years’ experience

Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills

Is able to work as part of a team, learning with and from other colleagues

Enjoys working independently and with initiative

Is able to work with children individually to enable them to achieve their best

Can communicate clearly at all levels

Is able to provide written and verbal feedback to the class teacher as required

Demonstrates good English and mathematical skills

Understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
