Compton All Saints' C of E Primary School is a small, lively school with a family feel on the outskirts of Winchester. The school has great links to the M3 and the city of Winchester, and its setting is surprisingly rural, with lovely grounds and good facilities. It is friendly and welcoming, with staff who are committed to providing a broad, stimulating and exciting curriculum so that every child can shine.
We are looking to appoint a strong team player with excellent teaching skills for our mixed class of Year 3 and Year 4 children. This is a permanent, job share post, ideally 0.6 (Mon to Weds) commencing 4th January 2021 and has arisen due to the forthcoming retirement of our current teacher. Compton All Saints' prides itself on its nurturing environment and attention to individuals' needs, alongside high expectations of achievement and behaviour. Our school is a happy and purposeful environment in which to work, and relationships between staff, children and parents/carers are excellent.
We are seeking a teacher who is organised, enthusiastic and whose subject leadership can make a positive difference across all age groups. There are high levels of professional discourse and reflection within the school and the successful applicant will be warmly welcomed as part of our good-humoured and dedicated team.
Please contact the office on email@example.com to request an application pack or to arrange to come and see us. We strongly encourage you to visit to appreciate all that we have to offer. We are able to organise appointments in line with our current risk assessment and in a socially distanced way.
Compton All Saints Church of England Primary School and Hampshire County Council are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.
