The governors of the federation of Ampfield and John Keble CofE Primary Schools are looking to appoint a special person to the post of Special Needs Assistant (LSA2) at Ampfield School for 19 hours a week (40 working weeks). The role will involve working to provide some 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 child with Special Educational Needs and also support within the classroom. In addition to the 19 hours of SNA support, there are also five hours of lunchtime cover.
We embrace the nurturing environment a very small school is able to offer and, at around 40 children on roll, we all work very closely with each other to help all of our children. As a federation, we have close relationships with the staff at John Keble School and there are always opportunities to work together and support each other.
