Job/Person Summary

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, dynamic and committed outstanding teacher to join our forward looking and successful Science department as 2nd in Science with responsibility for KS4. An ambition and drive to be a future subject leader is essential as is experience and ability to teach KS3/KS4 Science.  As a Specialist Science College we have a suite of ten newly refurbished laboratories with a central preparation area.

 

Hounsdown, a Hampshire school, is a popular over-subscribed, Outstanding (Ofsted 2017) 11-16 Science College, which converted to an Academy in August 2011.  Our school has a welcoming ethos with students being courteous and respectful.  We are committed to supporting all staff in their career aspirations and growing new leaders.  The school motto is ‘Be the best that you can be’.
