We are a friendly church school set in the village of West Tytherley in the heart of the Test Valley. We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work primarily on a one-to-one basis, temporarily supporting the educational needs of an EHCP pupil, initially until 31st December 2020. If you are a caring, enthusiastic person and enjoy building positive relationships, then this role is for you.
Working closely under the guidance of the Early Years/KS1 classteacher and SENDCo, you will be a key person, providing day-to-day learning support, enabling the individual to access their learning along with their peers and carrying out a number of additional intervention programmes. Training will be provided.
You will be required to keep accurate records and be able to provide feedback to the teachers and possibly other professionals.
