A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the right person to join a supportive team who work collaboratively to contribute to the continued success of the school. The post holder will work within the school’s Administration team to support all aspects of administration, with an emphasis on SIMS, data and reports.
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic individual with the ability to help identify, develop and implement improved systems within our school operations as well as assist in the smooth running of our established processes.
Key responsibilities will include providing support to the school’s Administration Manager and team; leading a variety of projects including ensuring the timely submission of statutory returns; school data analysis and the production of key reports; supporting the maintenance of new and existing student records; assisting with admissions; and other administration support to teaching staff, such as school trips and events as needed and will require a level of flexibility. Liaising with senior school staff and external parties as appropriate will also be an important part of this varied role.
The role requires someone who pays meticulous attention to detail, is proactive, and has the ability to prioritise and see the ‘bigger picture’. The successful candidate will be helpful and approachable, with strong people and organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. Excellent IT skills with an aptitude for IT systems are essential.
Experience of working with SIMS would be beneficial but training can be provided. A knowledge and understanding of the education sector and/or experience of working within a school environment would also be desirable.
This vacancy is ideally full time, 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday and will be term time plus one week to include embargo day and results day in August and the day before the start of the academic year in September, with flexibility for the right candidate.
