We are looking to appoint a highly organised Administrator/teaching assistant for this exciting new role within the school. 3 days a week will be spent administratively supporting the SENCO in all aspects of SEN including writing of pupil profiles, drafting Annual review paperwork, liaise with outside agencies, minute all meetings, keep accurate and detailed records, monitor progress of SEN pupils - please refer to the job description on the website for more detailed information.
The remaining two days will be spent working as a Teaching Assistant working across the primary range in partnership with the class teacher. The role will involve working with small groups assisting them in educational tasks, keeping them on task, assisting pupils with physical needs - again more detailed information can be found on the job description on the website.
Both roles require someone who can work collaboratively as a team as well as use their own initiative. The successful candidate will be highly organised, self-motivated and able to work in a confidential manner.
The role is initially for a one year contract, September 2020 to August 2021, to be reviewed after an initial 3 month trial period.
