We are looking to appoint two teaching assistants, on fixed term contract until the end of August 2021, to join our support staff team. Initially the vacancies are to work in early years (Reception class) and KS1 or KS2 to work with pupils in the classroom, both in small groups and 1:1 work.
The salary paid will depend on experience. This salary is based on a full-time position so will be pro-rata for the number of hours and weeks worked.
Both the infant and junior school are judged by Ofsted as good in all areas with early years being awarded outstanding. We are keen to find the right candidate to help us take the next step on this journey.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with young children, use their initiative, make decisions and be able to work effectively with staff across the school. Experience of working in an early years setting or infant aged children would be an advantage but not essential. Opportunities will be offered for further professional development as part of the school’s commitment to continuing professional development.
