We would like to recruit a cover supervisor, to provide consistency and a positive learning experience for all our primary aged children. We value colleagues who can develop our children as REACH learners, and can bring their own specialisms to the school. We are interested in hearing from people from all kinds of backgrounds and experience who would like to commit to being part of our team as we develop our school. Our most recently appointed cover supervisor combined this role with part time study for a higher education qualification which may be of interest to you too. You may have experience already in a similar role or as a teacher and want to continue your love for being in the classroom and outdoor learning in a primary school with creativity as one of its learning aims.
You would be covering regular classes for teacher release for: leadership responsibilities, NQT time or PPA time. You would need to feel at home leading learning in all year groups in our primary school and sometimes having to step in to a different class to cover in an emergency. We recognise that it is best for our children and our staff to have consistent routines; however sometimes things change and we need you to be flexible too!
The role includes time for feedback to the class teacher and marking, if appropriate, after school.
We are looking for a new colleague who:
