Job/Person Summary

To teach Science to groups of students from all abilities in Key Stage 2, 3 and 4. To ensure the effective Science teaching of all pupils, helping them to develop both inside and outside the classroom. Support the policies and aims of the School and ensure the good social, emotional and physical development of every child. 

Key Accountabilities:

Skills required:

Ability to teach all Science subjects from KS2 to KS4 level

Excellent interpersonal skills

High level of classroom teaching skills

Teamwork: the ability to work collaboratively with others

Communication skills: the ability to make points clearly and understand the views of others; good written and spoken English

Confidence and competence in ICT and a sound understanding of the role of ICT in teaching and learning across the curriculum

Experience of being a Tutor
