We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated person to join our busy team in October 2019.
The ability to prioritise your workload and be able to work under pressure are essential qualities. You will need to be cheerful and well-organised with the capacity to communicate effectively with teachers, parents and children throughout the day.
The role includes front office responsibilities such as answering the phone, dealing with visitors and contractors and supporting pupils’ first aid and medical needs (including the administration of approved medicines) alongside general administrative duties. Tasks will include updating SIMS and Tucasi, receiving & recording cash, and any other general duties as they arise.
Experience of SIMS, Tucasi and working in a school office is preferred, although training can be giving. Recent experience of using Microsoft packages is essential.
The ability to prioritise, and be organised, flexible and able to work calmly under pressure, with many interruptions are essential qualities. You will need to enjoy the challenges that a busy junior school office manages every day as there is never a dull moment and no two days are the same.
