To start as soon as possible we wish to appoint a caretaker to continue our progress towards developing the school site. The successful candidate will work with the Business Manager to provide a caretaking/maintenance service to meet the needs of the school, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, operational effectiveness and compliance with health and safety requirements.
We will need you to work in partnership with our school to:
-Manage the school site, grounds and buildings
-Carry out essential health and safety checks
-Undertake a range of minor repairs, maintenance and decorating to a high standard
-Work in a flexible manner for the needs of the children and the school
The successful candidate will be required to undertake regular training to help them to carry out their role successfully and to comply with health and safety standards.
The role will include working at heights. Experience of this role is desirable but not essential as training and an induction programme will be provided to the right candidate.
